International flights arrive at Santiago (RAI). From the main hub in Praia (Santiago), you can reach Maio via a short 15-minute domestic flight with CVsky or a 2-hour ferry ride. We are happy to coordinate private airport transfers upon your arrival at Maio Airport (MMO).

Maio enjoys a pleasant warm climate year-round with temperatures averaging 24∘C to 29∘C. For warm beach weather and water activities, November to June offers sunny, dry conditions. If you want to witness sea turtle nesting along the beaches, visit between July and October.

Yes. Unlike many remote island destinations, our luxury apartments feature high-speed Starlink satellite internet, designated workspaces, and fully equipped German kitchens, making them ideal for digital nomads, executives, and long-term stays.

The island is safe and easy to navigate. You can hire a rental bike or car, take local taxis, or use "aluguers" (shared minibuses) to reach remote beaches and villages. Taxis are readily available in the main town, Vila do Maio.
